Dom Brennan had the idea for The Trembling Trilby many years ago at college in Nottingham but, being a student, was having far too much fun to do anything with it.
Once Life's fun quotient had dropped to manageable levels he resolved to write up the story of the inexplicable thief plaguing the erstwhile stellar career of a London art detective.
A detective with enough eccentricities to relish the struggle - a detective treated with suspicion by his superiors and sometimes his colleagues - a detective determined to uphold the fine traditions of the Serious Freud Office...
