Westminster

Westminster, home to the mother of parliaments, also contains the offices of the Serious Freud Office in Great Scotland Yard (from where the Metropolitan Police were moved in 1890)

It also borders the 'lost' area of Pimlico where we find Inspector Ernest Moncrieff and his much-loved bathroom.

Fortunately both districts are north of the Thames and hence a civilised existence is viable. Westminster also has a healthy network of bus routes capable of taking the SFO staff to acceptable parts of London efficiently. As it happens these buses are quite likely to have the front of the top deck free at the stops nearest Great Scotland Yard which is a relief for Moncrieff and Sergeant Benskin.
