Ossie is an ostrich born on Fenny Penny's organic turkey farm in Norfolk. He thinks Tina Turkey is his mother since she was the first thing he saw
after his egg hatched.
His best friend is Barney the sheepdog who tries to educate Ossie in the ways of East Anglia, but this proves to be hard work.
Ossie likes to learn at least one new fact every day - but now that he knows at least seven he finds it difficult to stop the old facts falling out of his head...
Then when Nasty Nigel Baddersley starts to cast his dark shadow over the residents of Fenny Penny's farm Ossie needs to use as many facts as possible to save them...
